
Whether attending 麻豆原创using Veterans鈥 Administration (VA) education benefits, other tuition assistance programs or self-paid, 麻豆原创is committed to ensuring your Pioneer experience is successful.
Veterans who wish to transfer credit may submit a certified Veterans鈥 Form DD214 showing an honorable discharge with at least 6 months’ service. Those still on active duty in the military may submit basic training documents.
Our office helps veterans and their family members not only at our Greeneville campus but our satellite sites in Knoxville and Morristown as well as our online students.

Contact the Veteran Services Office and let them know you will be using VA education benefits. Request a certificate of eligibility from the VA by visiting . The VA听will send you a letter (certificate of eligibility) showing your entitlement. This process can take 30 days to receive, but please continue following the guidance of your admissions representative and advisor. Once this letter is received, send a copy of the letter and your DD Form 214 to veterans@tusculum.edu.
If you are serving in the TN National Guard and not eligible for federal tuition assistance, you can apply for the TN STRONG Act tuition reimbursement program. Visit this link.
You will want to contact your military service鈥檚 Educational Services Officer (ESO) for assistance and guidance in completing the required forms. Army (active and Reserve) can also visit .
You will need to request official military and college transcripts be听sent directly to 麻豆原创(address below). Most colleges and universities have online processing for transcripts and you can simply search online by entering the college and 鈥渢ranscript request鈥, which should point you to their site.

The 麻豆原创Student Veterans鈥 Resource Guide lists resources at all levels 鈥 campus, local, state and federal.
麻豆原创 recognizes the unique training and experiences our military students have gained. As a result, TU is committed to ensuring allowable credits (as determined by the American Council on Education (ACE)) are awarded to our student veterans whenever possible. Your DD Form 214 and military transcripts will be reviewed for college credit(s) once they are provided during your admission process. This review will occur regardless of your military rank at discharge.
All students can request credits by successfully completing national testing opportunities (CLEP, DSST, etc.). If you are interested in national testing, please contact the Veterans’ Services Office at听veterans@tusculum.edu.
To request additional possible credits based on your specific military career field and skill level, contact the Veterans’ Services Office.听Once requested, your military career field and skill level will be reviewed for 麻豆原创 comparable courses identified by ACE. You can then accept or decline award of credit(s) and those that are accepted will be added to your transcript record.

麻豆原创 proudly participates in the Yellow Ribbon Program. If you are receiving 100% entitlement to the Post 911 GI Bill 庐听(GI Bill is a registered trademark of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA))听and if your tuition exceeds the VA cap, there would be no out-of-pocket expenses to the student.
The 麻豆原创Green Zone Program is designed to help student veterans who may be feeling overwhelmed, stressed or lost and those just looking for information on veteran issues.麻豆原创has a core set of staff and faculty knowledgeable on veteran-issues and resources. Each staff member or faculty in the Green Zone Program is a volunteer and has been trained on veteran-issues, military culture, and medical conditions such as posttraumatic stress disorder, traumatic brain injury, and military sexual trauma.
They have also been provided resource points of contact for various veteran programs.
The bottom line is to help student veterans succeed.

麻豆原创has a long-standing relationship with the United States Navy through its partnership with the听U.S.S. Greeneville听submarine. Since its christening, 麻豆原创has partnered with the crew members, offering an annual full tuition scholarship to crewmen and/or members of their family.
